Graduated from the National University of Panama and educated at the University of Costa Rica where he studied with acclaimed trombone quartet Trombones de Costa Rica, has participated in courses with great teachers as Luis Fred, Enrique Crespo, Ralph Sauer, Pete Ellefson, Don Lucas, Steve Norrell, Miguel Rivera, Mark Kellogg, Victor Paz, Jim Martin and others, was granted a scholarship by the State of Sao Paulo (Brazil) for the Winter Festival of Campos de Jordao also the same year he was selected to the FOSJA in Puerto Rico.
Has been an artist at very important festivals around the world as Jazz Festival Montreux, Vitoria, North Sea Jazz Rotterdam and Curacao, Cervantino Festival (Mexico), Salsa in the Park (Bogota), Jazz in Lugano and is a regular musician at the Panama Jazz Fest. He is currently trombonist of the Latin Music Star Band Ruben Blades where he has performed in places like Lincoln Center, Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden, Coliseum in Puerto Rico, O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (London), Salsa Festival "Chim Pum Callao” in Lima, Peru, and with whom he made several tours worldwide.Guest trombonist at the National Symphony Orchestra in Panama (OSN) and National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica (OSNCR)
Despite being a trombonist trained in the environment of the classical music, he has worked mainly in the field of latin pop and jazz music with many artists such as Gilberto Santarosa, Adalberto Santiago, Tony Vega, Tito Nieves, Danilo Perez, Jose Alberto "El Canario" , Maelo Ruiz, Rabanes, Fito Paez, Jorge Perez and his PATAX group and many more.
Besides his work as professor of trombone Youth Music School INAC is a professor at the Danilo Perez Foundation working with at social risk children and trombonist with the brass quintet PANAMA BRASS with who he has released his first recording in 2014.
